After investing over 6 million US Dollars in the construction of a new domestic terminal, directly linked with the international terminal now, was the new facility officially launched ahead of the Seychelles celebrating the 43rd Independence Day.
The new domestic terminal processes more than 50 flights a day, both scheduled services by Air Seychelles to and from Praslin but also charters to a number of islands with airstrips to allow tourists to be flown in.
Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine Minister Didier Dogley and SCAA Chief Executive Gary Albert both spoke at the official opening of the new terminal.
Additional work is going on at other sections of the international airport to further improve passenger experience for visitors coming to the Seychelles.
