#MKTE2019: KTB Interacts with Hosted Media

With less than a week to the opening of the 9th Magical Kenya Travel Expo in Nairobi Kenya, the Kenya Tourism Board interacted with hosted media to a cocktail and dinner session.

The session was aimed at briefing media on Kenya as a destination and share story ideas


Numbering 15 hosted media from 9 countries, the engagements began with self introduction by individual media groups before the keynote speech by KTB PRM

In her brief remarks to the media,Ms.Walya expressed her utmost appreciation to the team for accepting our invitation and be part of the story telling team.

“Kenya inspired the recently premiered Lion King movie that not only helped in positioning Kenya as a filming destination but also showcase our tourism product diversity.

We see you as valued partners in communicating this great story to the world” she added

The media were grateful for the opportunity to have been selected to help tell the Kenyan story.

The hosted media are expected to visit the various attractions within destination as they savour the experience on the products.

The magical Kenya travel expo is scheduled for 2-4 October 2019 at KICC,Nairobi Kenya
