Experts , entrepreneurs and delegates arrives in Accra for regional congress on women in the Tourism Sector

Delegates from all over Africa have begun trooping into Accra, Ghana for the first Regional Congress on Women Empowerment in the Tourism sector with focus on Africa.

For two days, November 25 and 26, 2019 Accra will be the converging place for of stakeholders in travel, tourism and women entrepreneurs.

It is being organised by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

The conference will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre and will start at 9:00am prompt.

Among delegates who are already in the country are, Professor Marina Novelli of University of Brighton, UNWTO officials and group of panelists and moderators.

There will be a Masterclass on tourism innovation during the congress on Monday 25th November at the Kofi Annan ICT Centre at 11:30am.

Discussions during the congress include the use of technology in scaling up tourism businesses while also looking at

The congress is expected to host over a dozen world-renowned global industry experts, speakers, business leaders, ministers, policy maker from over twenty (20)countries.
