Air Seychelles, the flagship carrier to the island nation of the Seychelles is participating in India’s leading travel trade shows this February, reaffirming its presence in one of the most popular destinations on their regional network.
Representatives from Bird Travel, Air Seychelles’ General Sales Agent based in India, represented the airline at the OTM (On the Move) travel show this year. Referred to as the leading travel trade show in Asia, the OTM was held in Mumbai from 08-10 February at the Jio World Convention.

Harsh D Trivedi, Bird Travel’s Sales Manager speaks about the show “Our participation at OTM Mumbai was a resounding success. We were thrilled to connect with so many travel agents and share our passion for the Seychelles. We are confident this will translate into increased visitor arrivals.”

Currently in Delhi for the SATTE 2024 which runs from 22-24 February, the airline’s Chief Commercial Officer, Charles Johnson and Manager Sales & Market Development, Eliza Moise are bringing the creole spirit to enthusiastic potential passengers, promoting the carriers connections alongside Tourism Seychelles representatives who are marketing the Seychelles as a destination.

“It’s great being back at SATTE this year. This is the largest travel show in South Asia, giving us maximum exposure to meet key decision makers in the industry. It’s also a place to reconnect with existing partners, who are thrilled with our additional second weekly flight from Mumbai commencing in May”, expresses Charles Johnson.

Every year thousands of travel professionals attend these trade shows for their valuable networking opportunities and connections. Such shows prove to be the ideal platform to establish and forge new business relationships with more than 1600 exhibitors from over 60 countries. Participation also provides the opportunity to learn about industry trends and market development, attend workshops, and take part in industry discussions.

Air Seychelles, voted in 2023 as the Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline Brand at the World Travel Awards, currently operates a weekly flight between Mumbai and the Seychelles.
