Tourism Seychelles is actively participating in Meetings Africa 2024 to tap into the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector.

Leading Tourism Seychelles at the event is Christine Vel, Lead for African Market with a focus on growing the incentive travel market while adhering to Seychelles’ high-yield, low-volumes principles. Represented by Eden Blue and Hilton properties, Seychelles aims to showcase its exclusive and luxurious offerings, fostering partnerships for sustainable growth in the African market and beyond.

Christine commented that the interest shown by visitors to their stand has been positive.

“The Seychelles stand has been very busy with some very interesting and promising meetings, the interest in the MICE market for Seychelles is very apparent especially from those agents who are trying to find new incentive destinations,” she maintained.

Meetings Africa serves as a platform for exhibitors to present their offerings to both international and local buyers, African associations, and corporate planners. It stands as a significant opportunity on the continent for direct interactions with influential global buyers, fostering connections and contributing to Africa’s economic growth.

This event plays a pivotal role in facilitating the expansion of the business events industry across the continent. Meetings Africa 2024 is from February 27-28.
