Luxury safari travel in southern Africa has entered a new era with the official launch of Fly-in Zambezi, a premier lodge-hopping air service introduced by Westair Aviation and Gondwana Collection Namibia. The unveiling took place last night under the cloudy Namibian sky at Eros Airport, marking a significant milestone in seamless safari exploration.

This innovative venture eliminates long road journeys, offering direct aerial connections between Namibia’s Zambezi Region, Victoria Falls, Maun, Kasane, and surrounding wilderness destinations. Travellers can now experience breathtaking views from above while reaching some of Africa’s most sought-after safari spots with ease.

At the heart of Fly-in Zambezi’s operations is a Cessna Grand Caravan, which will be stationed in Katima Mulilo. The aircraft will operate seasonally from July to November 2025 and April onwards in 2026, providing two main travel options:

Custom lodge-hopping charters available from 2025.

Scheduled seat-based flights operating three times a week from 2026.

With a capacity of just 4–8 passengers per flight, Fly-in Zambezi offers exclusivity, privacy, and an immersive safari experience from the moment guests take to the skies.

As a 50/50 joint venture, the collaboration combines Westair’s operational excellence with Gondwana’s extensive travel expertise, ensuring a high level of service and comfort. With bespoke itineraries and tailored travel solutions, Fly-in Zambezi promises to redefine safari exploration across southern Africa.
