The three properties have undergone massive renovation during the lockdown and also instituted measures to ensure that the health and safety protocols are applied to the latter.

The “new“ Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa has the zebra as it’s icon and offers an urban feel“. With the newly tarmacked Voi – Taveta- Arusha highway cutting through our sanctuary it means accessibility is now a breeze.

The sanctuary is the Group’s third brand “ Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary “ christened “ The Heart Of Tsavo. The 28,000 acres or 110SqKM private sanctuary is home to Big Four of Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes & Leopard. large herds of Elephants call this sanctuary home and It is not uncommon to see 500 herds on a daily basis coming to drink water at dedicated points.

Over 1000 buffaloes are residents while the sanctuary also boasts of a pride of lions and resident leopards.  The rich birdlife makes this sanctuary such a bird watcher paradise. A serious reforestation project is currently being undertaken to restore biodiversity. We are also happy to report that close to 200KM of sanctuary roads have been rehabilitated. The sanctuary is driven by four themes namely Explore: Discover: Experience: Conserve
