RDB debunks Tourism re-opening rumours

The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has quelled reports about the imminent opening of tourism activities in the East African Nation.

Information has been rife on social media and other platforms of Rwanda opening up tourism activities soon.

In a response, the RDB tweeted that, the public should disregard the information as the organization is yet to take any such decision.

‘’Reports circulating on the re-opening of tourism activities are misleading. RDB is consulting with Rwanda Health, the tourism sector and other stakeholders, on proposals for a future re-opening. Finalised plans will be announced through official channels and communicated to the media.’’ The tweet said
