Seychelles is once again at IFTM Top Resa, one of Europe’s leading tourism trade shows, taking place in Paris from September 15 to 17, as the destination continues to strengthen its presence in the important French market and reinforce partnerships with the European travel trade.

The archipelago will showcase its diverse tourism offering to an international audience of travel industry professionals, including tour operators, travel agents, airlines and other key tourism partners. The event comes at an important time for the global tourism industry, with destinations and travel businesses continuing to navigate changing travel patterns and recent disruptions affecting international travel.

The Seychelles delegation is being led by Mrs. Bernadette Willemin, Special Advisor for Tourism to the Minister of Tourism and Culture, and is accompanied by representatives from the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) office in Paris, led by Market Manager Judeline Edmond.

The delegation also includes a strong representation from the local tourism industry, notably 7 South, Creole Travel Services, Mason’s Travel, Air Seychelles, Blue Safari, Hilton Seychelles, Meliá Seychelles, Raffles Seychelles and Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa.

Speaking from the fair, Mrs. Willemin highlighted the importance of IFTM Top Resa as a key platform for Seychelles to engage directly with the European travel trade and strengthen business relationships.

“France is a market we know well and have worked in for many years. We are coming to Top Resa to sit down with the partners who sell Seychelles every day, hear what their clients are asking for, and make sure they have what they need to sell the destination with confidence,” she said.

France remains one of Seychelles’ core European markets, with strong historical ties between the two destinations and an established network of travel trade partners. The French market also continues to be an important source of visitors seeking a combination of beach holidays, nature, culture, wellness, luxury and experiential travel.

STB Chief Executive Vesna Rakic reiterated the importance of maintaining Seychelles’ strong presence in France and across its traditional European markets.

“France remains a core market for Seychelles, and we are committed to maintaining and further strengthening our presence there. Continued engagement with our partners is particularly important as we work to build resilience and sustain visitor flows to the destination,” she said.

At IFTM Top Resa, the Seychelles delegation will engage the industry stakeholders through a series of business meetings and networking opportunities.
